As fotos que se seguem ilustram bem a decora\u00e7\u00e3o realizada, os bolos, queques e bolachas, sempre com a <span style=\"color: #339966;\">cor verde<\/span> a dominar, conforme manda a tradi\u00e7\u00e3o irlandesa. A boa disposi\u00e7\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m caracterizou esta celebra\u00e7\u00e3o. Em Dublin, a capital, h\u00e1 um desfile e festas pela noite dentro. As pessoas vestem-se de verde e pintam trevos na cara, porque o trevo \u00e9 o s\u00edmbolo da Irlanda; St Patrick usava-o como uma met\u00e1fora para explicar o conceito da Sant\u00edssima Trindade (Pai, Filho e Esp\u00edrito Santo).<br \/>\nA cor verde \u00e9 associada ao dia de St Patrick, porque \u00e9 a cor da Primavera, da Irlanda (considerada a ilha verde \u2013 Emerald Island) e do trevo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>As professoras,<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Alexandra Duarte, Ana Prata, Isabel Elias, M\u00aa Clara Lu\u00eds, Paula Vieira e Teresa Martins<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>No passado dia 19 de mar\u00e7o, comemorou-se na Escola 3\/Secund\u00e1ria Martinho \u00c1rias, o dia alusivo a St. Patrick, santo patrono da Irlanda.
